Launch of «Minergie-Betrieb»

A new Minergie certificate certifies verified energy efficiency and takes a step towards sustainability controlling.
“With the launch of the new Minergie-Betrieb certificate, Minergie is building a bridge between building design and building operation. The goal: Minergie buildings should not only be well designed and constructed, but also well operated. The certificate is based on automated measurements and digital evaluations. This allows efficiency potential to be realized during operation as well, unnecessary energy consumption and excessive ancillary costs to be avoided, and greenhouse gas emissions to be reduced.”
In his presentation “Minergie-Betrieb as a Component of a Sustainable Portfolio Strategy,” Christoph Dewald from re-x explains how the new Minergie certification can contribute to answering the two key questions real estate companies face in addressing climate change.
